In 2015 Dave decided to set up his own business and established Reef Financial Consulting Ltd.
After nearly 20 years’ experience in the financial advice sector, Dave Hurring made the decision to set up his own business, he used his extensive knowledge and conducted further research to find the best way of establishing a business that would allow him to provide an excellent client service.
About
Dave was impressed with the investment proposition, technical support and high levels of client service that becoming a Partner Practice of St. James's Place would enable him to provide.
Dave Hurring first started as a financial adviser in 1996, he went on to work internationally as an adviser to expatriates in the Far East. Since returning to the UK he has worked for major financial institutions as an investment specialist and a consultant to financial advisers. Dave is also a Chartered Financial Planner, having qualified to that level via the Chartered Institute of Insurers.
Those years of experience have provided Dave with the skills and knowledge that enable him to offer expert advice across a broad range of financial services.
Outside of work Dave is a keen scuba diver, a bad but enthusiastic golfer, occasional cyclist and is often involved with various local charity fund raising events.
